The Farm To Flame Experience
Located just 7 minutes from the Edmonton International AirportPicture yourself standing in a 1950’s barn overlooking Whitemud creek. The smell of birchwood smoke and coal roasted vegetables rising in the air. Join your family and friends at The Old Red Barn and learn how to cook over open fire by an expereinced Firemaster.
Farm to Flame is inspired by great Chefs like Francis Mallmann from Netflix Chefs Table. Our unique open fire cooking experience is sure to excite all your senses. Menus are designed around what is seasonally available from surrounding local farms. Get expert tips on cooking with flame from an experienced Firemaster and get engaged in the process of making fire cooked food. Hear the cast iron clang and the hiss of the fresh Alberta meat hitting the hot grilling surface.
This three-hour demonstration style experience is located on a working dairy farm in Leduc, and it is great for couples, date night, team building and corporate experiences. Join us at the fire for our intriguing farm to flame experience for an unforgettable evening!

Cost $ 175 per person + GST
Refund Policy: Tickets are non refundable once purchased. Tickets can be transferd to another Farm to Flame date based on availability.Â
If there is an extreme weather warning Old Red Barn will postpone the event to a later date. In the rare circumstance the event cannot be rescheduled, Old Red Barn will refund the ticket purchase. If there is a fire ban, Old Red Barn will use smoker BBQ instead of live flame. We will follow the direction of Alberta Government for Covid rules & regulations. Old Red Barn will notify guests at minimum 24hrs notice before a postponement of an event due to extreme weather

Fire Side:
House made charred pickles, cultured local butter, Meuwlys collaboration salami with fresh baked Forno bread.
Welcome Cocktail: Smokin’ Toonies
First Course:
Charred broccoli, peppercorn aioli, toasted sunflower seeds, fizzy grapes and guanciale drizzle.
Second Course:
Coal cooked beef tenderloin medallion, mushroom consume, charred creamed greens, with parsnip and horseradish tuile.
To drink: Beer or wine of choice
Third Course:
Fire roasted strawberries, peanut butter and jelly tamari, sour cream vanilla ice cream, and grilled angel food cake.
